A lesson on business transformation, a new blog post by Adria Solutions

The story of Adria Solutions is a live probe that delivering business transformation in recruitment brings positive results. Our company is an example of being resilient and agile in business in the face of market fluctuations, economic uncertainty, and digital skills shortages. On the occasion of our 20th anniversary, we’d like to share with you the lessons we’ve learnt and how they’ve shaped our business strategy, starting with our internal transformation processes.

The Wake-Up Call for Business Transformation

In recent times, we’ve observed the market showing signs of a slowdown, particularly in digital and marketing domains. This trend prompted a much-needed business transformation here at Adria. The traditional hustle to contact clients and fill positions was no longer the sole focus. Instead, we slowed down on our regular business tasks to embark on a period of introspection, analysing what was and wasn’t working for us.

The Reset, Refocus and Restart Strategy

This introspective wasn’t just a minor detour but a fundamental reset of our operational blueprint. It involved everyone at Adria, from our directors to our new business development team, recruitment consultants, and marketing personnel. We also sought advice and feedback from our vendors and some of our long-lasting clients.

Through honest discussions, intensive data analysis and challenging our existing paradigms, we’ve been able to craft a refreshed business strategy. The effort was immense, but the payoff has been equally significant.

A Record-Breaking January

Our renewed approach has borne fruit sooner than anticipated, with January 2024 marking our best start to a year on record. Traditionally, January begins slowly for us, working in recruitment, with momentum building in the latter half.

This year, however, we hit the ground running, a direct outcome of our strategic pivot last autumn. While the end of the previous year wasn’t our most profitable, it laid the groundwork for a year with clear objectives, a renewed purpose, and a concrete plan: we started 2024 with clear goals.

The First Lesson: Reset, Refocus, Restart

Now, we share with you how to bring our business transformation principle to your hiring strategy: How to reset, refocus, and restart your recruitment strategy.

Our strategy is particularly relevant for busy hiring managers struggling to attract tech and digital talent for business-critical roles. We invite you to partner with us to revisit and redefine your recruitment strategy. Together, we can examine your candidate journey, from candidate awareness to candidate onboarding, identify any barriers and obstacles preventing you from attracting top talent, and develop an enhanced recruitment strategy.

The Positive Impact of Having the Right Strategy

With a clear recruitment strategy in place and the support of some experienced hiring partners, the changes are palpable. Look at these examples of successful placements in January:

  • A legal corporation with a nationwide presence hired a Finance Director in just three weeks, with a small delay because of Christmas.
  • A Lead Security Consultant joined one of our long-term clients, a retail company in Manchester, after two interviews arranged in record time.
  • A new client, a FinTech from Birmingham, hired an Infrastructure engineer role. This role had remained unfilled for several months until they signed with Adria!
  • A sport-tech company hired an IT Manager after just ten days!

Our extensive experience, industry insights, and advanced recruitment technologies empower us to expedite your recruitment processes, significantly reducing time-to-hire. Imagine the satisfaction of filling a long-standing vacancy in mere weeks.

This isn’t just a possibility—it’s a reality we can achieve together.
