IT Recruitment Specialists, Adria Solutions Ltd, is pleased to announce an exciting move to new office premises in Poynton.

Adria was created by a pair of local entrepreneurs, Nick and David. The pair who both had previous experience working in high-turnover recruitment agencies in central Manchester. Whilst working closely on a project, they realised a shared ambition to escape the city and put their heads together. The result was a business plan to create their own venture in the leafy suburbs of Cheshire and establish here as the leading IT Recruitment Agencies in Cheshire.

Why Would Manchester IT Recruitment Specialists set up Base in Poynton?

Drawing on their knowledge and expertise of the Manchester IT recruitment market, they have grown the business steadily of the last few years. More recently, the duo secured a few lucrative deals with some big clients. The increased workload meant a few new consultants were required to support the already passionate and highly skilled team. Of course, having a larger team meant that space to grow and develop was essential for their future.

For these ambitious IT recruitment specialists, Poynton Village has been the perfect base to grow their business. It is only a few miles from Manchester city centre, Stockport and Macclesfield, where the majority of their clients are. They had been seeking a location within easy reach of their existing client base, which they have ambitions to grow.

The Old Pump House – a Unique Location for the new Adria Solutions HQ

The Old Pump House dates back to 1889. Back then, it was used as a Winding Engine House for a local coal mine. The Lady Pit mine was a small but integral part of the coal mining industry that dominated the local landscape. Sadly, The Old Pump House is one of the only buildings that survived to this day.

The grade two listed building is in a semi-rural location, on the edge of the green Princes Wood woodlands. Although it sounds remote, The Old Pump House is far from being cut off. In fact, it sits in a prime location. It has great transport links by bus and rail and boasts ample on-site parking. The location is perfect. It’s only a stone’s throw away from the team’s former offices in Poynton. So they jumped at the opportunity to move in as soon as it became available!

The Old Pump House is a beautifully developed former Cheshire landmark. The building has been sensitively transformed into exceptional quality office space. The stunning red brick building now boasts full-height ceilings and period features. This creates a wonderful environment to work in and visit.

Needless to say, the team are absolutely delighted to have now moved into this historic and completely unique building. The move may only be recent, but this high-quality space seems to fit the business perfectly.

Recruiters in the North West, particularly Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds, have reported considerable growth during the last 12 months. Particularly strong is IT, along with other areas such as accountancy and finance. What’s more, the recruitment market seems particularly strong for graduates.
