Welcome Back to the Blog with Adria’s Autumn News!

We’ve been rather shy about posting to our blog this summer. Mainly because we have some BIG plans in the pipeline but we’re not ready to share them, just yet. So in the meantime, here’s a brief rundown of the latest Adria’s Autumn News – enjoy!

Good News For Candidates:

July 2019 was our busiest on record! It was a fantastic summer for the Adria Recruitment Team and we are exceptionally proud of their achievements. 

We understand that ‘job hunters’ don’t want to miss out on the best opportunities and, of course, it’s in our best interest to place people in roles with longevity.

As previous years have demonstrated, there is always a wider selection of jobs to choose from in the autumn months of September and October. This means that right now is an excellent time for ‘job hunters’ – in the IT, Digital and Marketing sectors particularly. Be certain to make your CV stand out from the crowd!

So, if you’re considering your next career move, there’s no time like the present to apply!

New Technologies:

Most recently, we have been exploring the latest in new recruitment technologies, that will help us to improve our service to clients, and improve our communication and connection with candidates.

These technologies allow our adverts to be more visible to candidates, whilst enabling our team to achieve quicker results, better management and communication with candidates.

GDPR. The acronym that makes everybody gasp. Here at Adria, we have made it our mission to update, upgrade and uphold our privacy policy for both candidates and clients.

Typical British Weather!!

However, the Summer months were not so fantastic in regards to the weather! Another reason why we have been so quiet lately is due to the recent flooding fiasco.

We hope you weren’t hit too badly by the crazy rainfall experienced recently!

Fortunately, our office is quite high up, however, our sweet little Village of Poynton did not fare so well. This caused a huge disruption in the local area.

One of our Managing Director’s had water up to his waist in (what was) his garage – which now seemed more like a swimming pool. And the other MD? A giant sink-hole appeared right at the end of his garden!

We tried not to let this interfere with business too much. If you did find our service to be a little slower than usual, we are most grateful for your patience.

Politics, Politics, Politics

We always like to keep our political views neutral on our Adria Solutions’ Blog. However, we are aware that candidates can’t help wondering how the current political situation will affect the tech jobs market. One thing we can all agree on is that we wish all the uncertainty would end so we can all get back to business!

According to a recent Tech Nation Report, 69% of Digital Businesses do not expect to be affected by Brexit. So, in case you were wondering whether now is a good time to apply for a job or not? Our advice would be to just go for it! The best time to apply for a job is always whenever you feel ready.

Exciting Times Ahead

As we mentioned earlier, we have some really exciting plans in the pipeline – we’re just dying to tell you about them!

For the time being, however, it is top-secret.

Don’t worry, we’ll be shouting from the rooftops soon enough! Or at least all over social media, anyway. (sorry not sorry)
